Supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s 5-year-old niece, Duda Bundchen, has launched her own line of children’s clothes with Brazilian brand Brandili Mundi.
After being named Brandili’s spokesmodel last year, Duda’s turned her hand to designing. Every item in the Duda Bundchen collection was approved by the mini model herself, reports Forbes.
“She told us about her preferences on prints, cuts and details, and based on the briefing we received from her we came up with a collaborative collection,” explained Germano Costa from Brandili Textil, the parent company to Brandili Mundi. “The pieces were all approved by Duda,” he said.
We’d been thinking if any young girl were to release a collection, it'd most likely be 6-year-old fashionista Suri Cruise, who’s even upstaged mum Katie Holmes in the style stakes.
In an interview with Elle magazine, mum-of-one Katie once said, “Suri is magical when it comes to clothes – she’s quite an artist. My daughter has been choosing her own outfits since she was 2.” The 33-year-old actress also admitted she takes fashion tips from her daughter, “Suri is my style critic. I know I look good when Suir asks if she can have my outfit when she’s older.”
