Heiress Tamara Ecclestone and mum of a little girl, Sophia, is no stranger to criticism when it comes to her parenting choices.

A photo take about a year ago, showing her breastfeeding her then 15-month-old daughter on a beach, caused a right storm (sound familiar?) when she posted it on Instagram, with people accusing her of over-sharing and adding to the pressure on mums who bottle-feed.

And now it seems she's having to defend her choice to continue breastfeeding beyond the usual 6-month or year mark.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine (where she breastfed mid-interview and laughed "My boobs are like a tap!"), Tamara admitted she found people's priorities 'bizarre' when it came to criticising her for her open breastfeeding.

“When there are people walking around the streets these days in thongs and bras, I’m like: ‘Really? Can anyone say anything?’"

And she has no intention of stopping any time soon, adding:

“We’ll cross that bridge if it comes to it, but for now she’s my baby. You’re doing something that is so amazing for your child, but it can cause such hostility and anger.

"It makes me wonder what’s wrong with the world. Breastfeeding is such a natural thing.

“Yes, Sophia is 2 and a half and yes, a lot of people wouldn’t breastfeed now. But it’s so comforting for her and she loves it. She doesn’t have a dummy, a blanket or take a bottle.

"Although I’m going to have the saggiest boobs around by the time she’s finished!”

She's also revealed that Sophia shares the marital bed and has done since she was 6-months-old, but that hasn't dampened the romance with hubby Jay Rutland, and they still make time for each other - though perhaps not so much.

“I can imagine other men would be put out by the fact I devote so much time and attention to her. He’s very understanding and like: ‘I could never feel put out by a two and a half year old.’ We are both in a great place and it doesn’t cause arguments or tension.”

Sounds like life's good, Tamara, and all we can say is - your bubba, your choice, good on you ✊
