Survey shows 8 in 10 children can access parents' accounts
Your children may well be sharper than you give them credit for. A study has shown that most children know their parent’s computer passwords and pin codes, whether the parents want them to or not.
While many parents trust them with the information, one in ten children say their parents change them to keep them secret. But by looking over their parents’ shoulders to find out the new settings, or by trying various combinations, children say they can easily crack the codes.
Quite funny in itself, until you reach the bit in the survey, carried out by internet payment service Virutal Piggy, that one in four children has run up an internet bill without their parents' permission. Ouch!
