Huge shock for 44-year-old mum who has a baby while out shopping, gulp!
A shocked 44-year-old mum is celebrating the surprise birth of her third baby, without ever knowing she was pregnant. Jane Eadie gave birth to a baby boy on King Street in Belper, Derbyshire, while she was out on a shopping trip.
Jane thought she had just gained weight over the past nine months, after coming off some medication, and put her lack of periods down to starting the menopause.
“I just couldn’t believe it. I thought it was a dream until we saw the baby. He’s wonderful,” said Jane’s 23-year-old daughter Elizabeth Anderson, who was with her for the birth.
“Everyone kept running up to us and going, ‘ah congratulations',” she added.
