First impressions…
The hotel is a 19th century manor house nestled in 43 acres of glorious parkland, which includes a croquet lawn, bat barn and walled garden. It’s just seven miles from the Eden Project, five miles from the Lost Gardens of Heligan and, most importantly, a 10-minute walk from the beach. Traditional pubs in the historic port of Charlestown (a five-minute taxi ride from the hotel) provide the perfect shelter from Cornish rain during colder months.
Facilities
The Clearing Spa at The Cornwall includes single and double rooms for luxurious treatments. There’s a manicure bar and juice bar, plus a beautiful infinity swimming pool. A state of the art fitness suite may also tempt guests away from relaxation areas, while partners and friends can make use of the sauna and aroma steam room. Outdoor pursuits include tennis and visits to the nature area and old vinery.
Treatments
There’s a whole list of yummy therapies on offer for visitors, including specially tailored treatments for mums-to-be. The hour-long Rose Hydrating Cocoon involves being exfoliated and oiled up in glorious smelling moisturisers, before being wrapped up for everything to take effect, leaving you smelling and feeling fantastic.
Magic mummy moment
Dinner in the 2AA rosette Arboretum Restaurant is a special treat for mums-to-be. The fabulous waiting staff are on hand to meet your every need and the food is incredible too.
