The Flexi Bath is a foldable travel bath, which claims to be suitable for babies from birth up to four-years-old. Scandinavian band Stokke has been around for over 80 years but didn’t start producing products for children until the 1970s. Since 2006 it has focused exclusively on children and baby products and is fast becoming a leading name in the baby world.

How was assembling the travel bath?
There wasn't much ‘assembling’ required and it couldn’t be easier to set the bath up, it simply unclips and unfolds to form a very spacious rectangular bath.
Was it simple to fold up and store?
Yes, once you’ve used it (and emptied it) you just fold it back up and secure it with a little clasp to keep it in place.
It takes up about a quarter of the space a regular baby bath would in the boot of the car. But beware; the clasp does pop open from time to time, so it can sometimes unfold of its own accord.
Is the Flexi Bath as sturdy as other baby baths?
No, the underside of the bath features a number of rubber footings, which stops it from sliding around if you are using it on a particularly slippery surface, such as in a bath or a wet bathroom floor.
However, it isn’t particularly sturdy so if your baby is a wriggler, like mine, he may be able to tip it over. My nine-month-old son George tried to do this several times and if my husband hadn’t been bathing him with me, he would easily have succeeded.
How spacious is the Flexi Bath?
Very spacious, aside from the obvious fun George had when trying to tip up the bath, he also seemed to enjoy having lots more space than in his previous baby bath.
As spacious as it is though, I doubt it would be comfortable for a four year old as the product specification suggests. My niece is three-and-a-half and certainly wouldn’t enjoy having to squeeze into it.
Who would you recommend the bath to?
The Flexi Bath is perfect anyone who needs a travel bath for a baby up to two-years-old, and really was a Godsend on our trip.
Is it value for money?
The Flexi Bath costs £35 which is nearer the higher end of the scale when it comes to baby baths. Plus, if you were to use it with a newborn you’d need to buy the Newborn Support seat separately, which costs an additional £15.
However, since your little one is unlikely to outgrow it for some time (and if you travel a lot), it could work out as good value for money.
