The Britax DUO plus can be installed either directly to a car’s ISOFIX connection points or with your car’s 3-point seatbelt, making it ideal for multiple car use.
The deep, softly padded side wings offer side impact protection, and the “Pivot link system” is there to reduce your child’s movement forward if there’s an accident.
What we love
The Britax DUO plus with ISOFIX weighs 9kg and is easily transferred from one vehicle to another with minimal fuss.
The nicely padded side wings and soft cover makes it really comfortable. The shoulder part of the 5-point harness is exceptionally well padded and provides a secure and comfortable position for my toddler Ella. The 3-position recline also makes the car seat exceptionally comfortable on long journeys.
Adjusting the headrest and harness requires just a simple lift of the back panel.
The ISOFIX fittings of the Britax DUO plus easy to use and give you the reassurance that your car seat is going nowhere. There are also plastic guides to ensure that you’ve fitted it properly.
What to watch out for
The price tag of the Britax DUO plus might sound is a bit high (£219.99) but I feel for the ISOFIX fittings, it is worth the investment.
The Britax DUO plus does sit down relatively low in the seat of the car, which was a disappointment to Ella.
