Perfect Car seat!

Feel confident with the brand that my chils is as safe as he can be.
Takes a while to get all the covers on and off for washing.
I absolutley love my axiss! Although not suitable for all cars, its has been perfect in the 3 ive had in the time ive had the car seat! The swivel action is great in car parks, helps with less dinks in other car doors! Great selection of covers, and you can easliy get replacements through maxi cosi. And always gets compliments from others!

Brilliant seat, easy for us and comfy for little one!

Easy enough to fit, sturdy seat (slightly weighty but makes it feel safer to me), brilliant recline settings for sleep and of course the awesome twist seat, great for my husband's bad back. The straps are very padded and don't get lost easily like on the first size seat we had. Also the seat height is great for little one to look out of the window. Comes in great range of colours. And is so comfy and padded i wish i could have one!
You have to put little one in perfectly central which can be difficult when seat twisted in recline position otherwise the straps tighten a bit unevenly, but nothing that can't be easily sorted! Other than that (which was my fault) there aren't really any cons.
An extremely comfy seat for little one, she looks like she's sat in an arm chair. Easy to use and brilliant features. If you shop around you can get a really good deal, as we bought a colour that was being discontinued we paid less than £100. Our little one loves it and gets excited when we put her in. We were so pleased we bought this seat for her!

great little seat!

it swivels 90 degrees, well padded, made by a well known and trusted brand, the shoulder straps again are well padded and have rubber grips on the underside to prevent slipping...and therefore reduces the risk of wiggly escape tricks, there is a green pop up button at the top which indicates that it has correctly clicked into the forward facing position, it has a several recline positions (although I only use one), there is a button underneath the seat which you switch from one side to the other depending on which side you want to be able to swivel it (left or right).
on our particular model one strap seems to be a little looser than the other - emailed maxi cosi and no response (yet). not sure if anyone else has experienced this?
others have mentioned that this really is a one car seat once fitted - it's large and heavy and not easily transferable between cars. Yes, it's also a tad on the pricey side, but shop around, plus it should be lasting until baby is about 3.5 (ish)
we looked at lots of car seats and decided that spending a little more meant saving alot of back pain and fidgeting around when it's pouring with rain, also, due to the swivel positioning I am not awkwardly trying to put my daughter into the car bumping her head on the way in! I don't really think that there are many seats out there that have unique and specific selling points and they are all much of a muchness...but this really is a great idea that makes you wonder why they all didn't do it this way.

Wonderful!

Easy to get child in and out without twisting your body
Comfy
Reclines well
Study & fits really securley
Heavy so you wouldn't want to be taking it in and out of the car
Love it - best car seat I have used, it was a little more expensive but with web searching and discount codes managed to get it for not much more than a standard seat

Great seat once in the car, easy to fasten children in - highly recommended

Love it. The harness has nice padding and is easy to click together and fasten. The fact there are bits on either side of the seat to hold the harness back so its easy to put the child in without having to scramble underneath and behind them to pull the straps out. The fact is turns to face you is wonderful. No tantrums yet but can see it will make life easier. Having a recline function to for when sleeping is on the agenda is a bonus and easy to lift up.
Too heavy to change between cars and fiddly to install, but once its in its in! Quite pricey for a car seat, so shop around as can vary from £220 - £180.
Having got a Britax Explora in one car and this in the other I prefer to drive in the car with the maxi-cosi Axsiss. My son is very comforatble in it and has never complained about having to sit in it.
