feels and sounds very cheap

we have only just fiited this into our car and the rattling drives you mad, if you go over a bump the led lights keep bleeping.... i am returning this seat back asap, surely it must be faulty, maxi cosi surely would exspect people to put up with that noise

Avoid like the plague

Easy to install

Squeaks all the time
Does not last as long as advertised
Shoddy build quality

Our family fix base has been sent back twice, and replaced once, it constantly rattles which would suggest it is made cheaply and concerns me for my child's safety. The second time we had ours fixed, the isofix mechanism actually fell apart in the hands of the shop girl fitting the (repaired unit) maxi cosi replaced it straight away, but they had clearly passed an unsafe unit and sent it back to us. I've had enough of this badly made seat. I shall buy I different make ASAP. Also you don't get 3-4 years use, my girl is two (small 2 at that) and her legs are butted up against the seat in front, not safe. Don't buy

Does yout baby feel damp after being in this seat after a long journey?

We used this carseat with my son from. He loved it, I can only assume because of how enclosed it is.

I started to notice my baby feeling damp round his back after removing him from the seat after a long journey very early on. Then he started to get an extremely bad cough which the doctors believed had been caused by damp. We knew he had been anywhere where damp is present any really couldn't figure it out, as he continued to get more poorly. It wasn't until I took the covers off the carseat to wash that we realised the carseat had been causing it. Underneath the covers the plastic had condensation everywhere and a small puddle had settled in the bottom causing water to leak through.

I stopped using the seat at once and he recovered in a week. Do not use this seat!!
