I had a moses basket for quite a while when my toddler was small then we moved to a cot to give her room to grow
close to me so feeding was good and i knew she was safe
I got my basket from argos then the first cot we had was from when my husband was a baby new mattress then we had a cot from ikea
You need to know that you can place baby safe and easy for you to place baby in to sleep when we moved to cots we had ones that the side came down for ease to reach in to baby
The best thing you can do is search web sites and stores think of cost and size
