Works for me and my fusspot 1 year old but the lid IS tough to get off.

It really is leakproof, absolutely no spills with this cup. Very easy to clean and no time-wasting fiddling around with valves. DS seems really happy with it too so I've finally emptied out the cupboard of beakers he didn't get on with.
The anywayup lid is a pain to get off. The best method seems to be holding the bottom end against the sink wall, fingers in handles and thumbs pushing off lid - still takes too long. The cow cup version has a lid which is much easier to get off as it has a bigger lip to lever off with the thumb, BUT the valve on the cow cup is different and just seems to fall into the cup making it suddenly free flow and definitely not leak proof.
Definitely worth a try. We'd been through loads of different cups but one way or another they failed either my son or me - wet tops, soaking wet bibs, milk covered tables and floors, fiddly valves that blocked the dishwasher ... my 1 year old son finds it easy to drink from, no mess for me and it's really easy to clean. Only downside is the lid being difficult to remove - which is great from the point of view of it not being taken off by curious fingers but pain for parents.

Very difficult for mine!

Completely leak proof
Seems to be very heavy and bulky for the age range

Very difficult to drink from
My DD refuses to drink for this cup, as she finds it almost impossible to suck anything through the leak proof spout! I have had a go myself, and find it quite hard, so I don't blame her for refusing it. It also seems quite heavy for the age range, as DD has only been able to hold it up and try to drink from it full in the last few months, she is now 15 months. We've had the cup for about 6 months, and sadly, it's all but unused.
