Best first cup, both my daughter and son went onto this straight from breastfeeding, no bottle needed!

Reasonable priced, easy to use (for kids), easy to clean, great flip lid for minimal spillage.

A great first cup for teaching little hands to hold and aim for their mouth.

Free flowing enough so baby gets some liquid, but not so fast that it pours out.
Good range of colours
Nice size handles for baby
Firm fitting lid
None
My daughter loved using this cup and soon got the hang of what to do. She could grasp it very well and drink easily from the spout. I now put rice or lentils into it to make a rattle now that she has moved onto a bigger cup.

Good first cup, with an irritating flaw

Easy for a young baby to hold with two easy to grab handles. Slow flow so they don't pour it all over themselves, while being a rare free-flow one so teaching them to sip properly. Good design of fold down spout so that it's ideal for throwing into your nappy bag - no leaks ever! Comes in a wide range of bright colours. Children from 4 months to 3 years seem to like drinking from it.
After a while, the seal around the fold-down spout seems to come away in some way and means that when drinking air-bubbles come through and make the drink 'bubbly'. One cup I had did this to the extent that it was unusable, tho in fairness when I wrote to Tommee Tippee they sent me a free replacement.
Almost the only decent free-flow cup for young babies - almost all others have a non-spill valve which means babies have to suck rather than sip, or are too fast-flowing for young babies. However, not a very long-lasting product as it seems to have a flaw which develops over time. Not as good as the Heinz Baby Basics cup which is sadly no longer made, but probably the best there is at the moment!
