Pros Strong, sturdy and super stylish with a great 360 swivel positioning system. Cons Quite large footprint and difficult to move from room to room as it is heavy. Like its complete collection of buggies, car seats and kid’s bed and bath furniture Cosatto’s highchairs are anything but plain, in fact the entire range is eye-catching. Queue the Cosatto 3Sixti2 Orange Squash highchair, a modern looking seat that comes adorned in bright orange segments and orange polka dots, but the 2Sixit2 also comes in five other out-there designs, ranging from psychedelic squares (Pixelate), to deliciously cute pink ‘Macaroon.’ This chair, as you may have guess by the ‘2’ at the end of its name is the second version of a very popular chair, which initially came out in 2009. After a defect in the production of the older version 3Sixti seat owners were asked to check none of the five screws in the seat unit were missing. The chair wasn’t recalled (which is what happens when a product has a serious design flaw) but it was feared that the screws could have posed a potential choking hazard as they came loose and also led to a few seat units coming loose from the stand while in use. With that said, our review of the first chair was overwhelmingly positive getting 4.5 stars for ease of use, cleaning and value for money. So when the 3Sixit2 highchair came on the scene MFM had to see what it had to had to offer, and I jumped at the chance to review it. The new chair is designed for children from six months to approximately three years. It’s strong and sturdy, and perfect for our boisterous little girl, making meal times less of a chore for myself and fun and comfortable for her. What’s in the Box? Highchair Tray Harness Seat Pad Any additional extras? None needed How is assembling the 3Sixti2 chair? It is fairly simple, although I feel that the instructions could be clearer. With a few screws in place and some slotting and sliding, the 3Sixiti2 is up and ready to use. The 3Sixiti2 is, colourful and stylish, with is multi-adjustable height mechanism and six-point swivel system it’s perfect for any dinning experience. Not only is it excellent for meal times but also perfect for keeping bustling Kiara out of trouble and in sight, when quickly trying to complete a few household chores. How comfortable is the chair? The seating is fantastic in terms of space and comfort, Kiara has room to wriggle and bounce, without her feeling restricted and becoming frustrated. The soft padded lining of the chair allows her to sit comfortably providing adequate cushion for her little bouncing bottom. It also has a three point adjustable backrest, which makes it comfortable and relaxing for her to lean back and watch her favourite show. Tell us about the tray. The Highchair comes with an easily adjustable two-part tray, and not only does this allow my daughter to enjoy meal times but also play time, I put a few of her favourite toys on her tray keeping her occupied. The inner part of the tray can be removed, which in the future, will make it easier for Kiara to self-feed. Is it easy to clean? Yes, it really is, the removable padded seat cushioning is wipe clean, which for me is incredibly satisfying as Kiara makes a huge mess whilst eating. She gets food everywhere, like a food spilling ninja, but with the 3sixti2 mess doesn’t matter, as my little one is free to make splodges and splatters to her hearts content. How easy is it to adjust the height of the chair? From Low to high or high to low it is easy to adjust this bright, trendy highchair, with the multiple height gas lift it makes cruising from 1st to 3rd easy, allowing Kiara to feel as if she’s head of the table. With the Cosatto 3Sixti2 she’s the centre of everyone’s attention. The 6 point swivel systems allows her to be a sociable all rounder, engaged in all meal time banter, and my daughter Kiara loves to sit at table level with the adults. Does it feel safe and secure for your little one? Yes, it does, Kiara is a wriggler, and if she could, would jump out of her highchair. However the 5-point harness system and seat pommel makes it super safe, preventing seat slip-downs, and she is 100% secure at all times. Is the chair portable? Sadly, no. The only downfall with this chair is that it is quite heavy, so moving the highchair around the house, which I often do, is difficult. Although it is suppose to have under-base roller for ease of transportation, it does not move easily on carpet. MadeForMums verdict? Strong, sturdy and super stylish the Cosatto 3Sixti2 highchair, swivels into position claiming the best seat in the house, a chair that leaves all other highchairs looking up. Before we got this chair trying to feed a mini mouth on the move was proving a nightmare, now Kiara was more than keen to sit down for dinner. And with the Cosatto 3sixti2 my daughter Kiara really does have the best seat in the house.
