DO NOT BUY!!!!

Nice colours
Badly made
Not a durable pram
Bad to push on any un even surface
Loved the pram at first, as others have said it gets stuck in pot holes or on kerbs and is annoying. The worst thing about the pram is the chasis, it is so badly made! My pram is only 17 months old and has probably been used for only 14 months. The chasis has snapped on one side and is beginning to on the other. I cannot see how I will be able to continue to use it once both sides have gone. It is a disgrace that this should happen to a pram that is so new. Spend your money on something durable even if it is more expensive!

Great Looks But build Quality is a let down

Great looking and compact design makes it really practical for small car boots and walking around town
sticking front wheels. Flimsy hood. cheap plastics and materials.
At first this was the perfect buggy for us. Small and stylish and ticked all the boxes. Over the last 7 months it has showed it's true colours. Our Oyster has been sent back 3 times for repair and not for the same faults. sticking front wheels. Seat unit not clicking into frame. Broken back wheels. Now the seat unit is failing to lock into any other position than fully reclined.

oyster black pearl, fantasic, value for money, stylish a real head turner

just purchased this pushchair for millie 15 weeks old. ive tried the loola, pliko switch, reversus, chicco 4me and i must say this is the best by far.great to push and stear have had no problems as yet.
handle adjusts in so many heights its great for all sizes, hood is a great idea being larger so no need for a parasol, shopping basket great. all in all this is a great buy
seat could be made to lie fully flat as at the moment it doesnt.
raincover seems a bit flimsy.
ater having 7 children over the years so far this has been the best buggy ive ever owned. the black pearl is so stylish and is a real head turner, millie looks so comfy in it i wish i were her.fold really small even with the seat unit still on way smaller than the loola, reversus, pliko switch, chico for me

Everything we wanted out of a buggy, and more besides!

Fairly compact when folded
Easy to steer, even with one hand
Comfortable for baby and toddler
Brilliant hood provides lots of shade/wind protection
Very useful integral shade/mosquito net
Roomy shopping basket
Stylish looks
Easy to fold, even easier to unfold
Easy to use brake pedal
Lightweight

When folding/unfolding, the plastic ends of two of the bars get quite scratched
When in rear facing mode it is quite clumsy getting up and down steps
I bought this buggy in September 2009, mainly for my daughter Tabitha, who was 4 months old at the time. I already have an Out n About Nipper 360 double buggy as Tabs' older sister, Eleanor, is only 16 months older than her. Ellie goes to nursery twice a week and so I wanted a single pushchair for Tabs when I had her on her own. I did have a lightweight buggy - the Silver Cross Pop - but it wasn't very handy for Tabs as she was too young to sit up properly and always looked so uncomfy in it. What I really wanted was something like my old Quinny Buzz. My main requirements were: something lightweight and compact, rear and forward facing, lie flat capability, large shopping basket and a single handlebar. After much research I finally found the Oyster and it seemed to have all the things I wanted, for a quite reasonable £250. I didn't need the bassinet part, or the car seat so I only wanted the actual buggy. I went and tried it out at a local shop and it really did seem as good as it suggested so we ordered one then and there!
I have been using this pushchair since September 2009 and haven't had any problems with it at all - the two previous reviewers seem to have had problems with sticky wheels and brakes but I haven't had any problems at all. I've been a bit rubbish and not done any maintenance at all but it's still going strong! Several of my mum friends are very envious of my Oyster and my closest friend is now ordering one for her baby boy! I truly love this pushchair!
