fantastic pram/travel system (updated version)

frame folds easily and fits upright in car, sturdy, but so easy to manoeuvre, carrycot and pushchair easily interchangeable, pushchair is generously sized & well padded, baby is so comfy, height adjustable handle & seat unit, came with adaptors for car seat & raincover, funky frame and fabric
storing separate carrycot
price, expensive (£700) with carrycot, further cost of car seat to make a travel system
quite wide at rear wheels, will fit through standard size door
I love it, the fabric caught my attention first(damson) but it also had the modern chassis I wanted, its a dream to push and because the pushchair is generously sized, will do from birth till 3 or 4. Despite the size the chassis folds to a good size, amazingly it fits upright in my zafira behind the 3rd row seats, thus i don't need to lose the use of a seat in order to take the pram and is a major +ve of this system. Also don't be put off by the flat basket, it actually holds lots, I've had several bags from the supermarket fit easily.

Overall although its a pricey buy, this is a well thought out quality pram, built to last. The Skate copes outside with all terrain types, I walk for miles with mine but is also great at the shops because it manoeuvres so easily through the clothing rails!

Fantastic all in one. Only suitable up to 18 months as seat is too short.

All in one that can be adjusted with baby in. Different recline chassis and handle height adjustments are super. Handle height adjustment also fab. Can be outward or inward facing. Space saving due to one unit (I had 2008 version- it now comes as a two piece). Handles brilliantly. Can fit lots of shopping underneath if wedged properly (especially if you put frame on top notch. I am 12 inches shorter than my husband and this was great for us both. Car seat with Isofix base ingenious, as slots into pins of chassis. Fits back in the boot very quickly as push mechanism really simple.
Too small. By 18 months my daughter couldn't sit comfortably- her head lolled to one side. Waste of time in the winter after about 15 months as the child cannot fit width wise with a coat on. Cannot fasten pram cover with cosytoes, so again design is too small. Also Mamas and Papas do not make a buggy umbrella that fits round the very thick frame. Our brake was faulty and after sales very slow at M&P. Sometimes pins got stuck in the frame. Pity the manufacture wasn't better as the design is genius.
I'd buy again but only at reduced price as not modelled on the average baby. Then I'd get a toddler buggy (which I had to anyway)

Fab pushchair and pram in one.

This is a great idea.I love the fact that you can change from a pram when it is in carrycot mode for the newborn baby to a pushchair for the older babies and toddlers by pulling a few straps and adjusting the seat position. You can push it with 1 hand it is quite a lightpram to move around and you can also have the seat unit in a choice of 3 positions most importantly away from horrible vehicle fumes.
I think the basket is a tad small but you can get a fair amount of items on - more than you think. The actual pram doesn't fold down to a compact size but isn't that bulky.
Fab combi pram/pushchair and have recommended it to a lot of pregnant mums.Yes it costs a bit of money but personally I think it is worth it.

BRILLIANT!!

Easy to manoever
Great for all terrains
Freedom of movement Harness
Cup holder included
A little of the weighty side but don't notice when using.
When folded is quite large.
This pushchair has it all, you use it as a carry cot which is very roomy then when the baby is old enough you can turn it into a pushchair with the pull of 3 cords. The pushchair actually enables you to move the carrycot/seat up n down the chassis so not only can baby be close to you but it can be used as a high chair when out and about. No more having to use dirty or broken highchairs that cafes and restaurants provide!
Plus at the moment M&P have this pushchair on offer at 399 total bargain!!!

LOVE IT!

I really do love this pram, its a pleasure to push. It looks big and bulky but you wouldnt think it when you are pushing it, its so easy. Loads of room for my baby in the carrycot mode and is so easy to change over to pushcahir. It is bulky to store and as i won this pram im not too sure i would pay £575 for a pram although i could see it lasting for quite a while. It fits in our focus boot with just taking one wheel off which is easy to do.
