Really disappointing! The price of this buggy is unfortunately reflected in the build quality.
I was really excited when we came across this buggy as it seemed to tick all the boxes - stylish, lightweight, compact, front & rear facing seat, large shopping basket, height-adjustable handle, and compatable with maxi-cosi car seat. It had the added bonus of being £200 cheaper than the Quinny Buzz package. Unfortunately it seems that this may have been false economy...
The build quality is very poor, and one fault we have is quite simply dangerous, and Babystyle don't appear to understand the concept of customer service, and have refused to replace our chassis.
When we first got the buggy (after a month delay as the buggy went on back order, so it arrived only 3 days before our son!!), we soon noticed one of the front swivel wheels didn't actually swivel - my husband identified the problem and lubricated it, then after speaking to Babystyle (who confirmed that there was a design fault which had been rectified in future prams, and congratulated him for spotting it!) he filed a larger groove so the wheel no longer stuck. After a couple of weeks we then noticed the rear wheels had developed a hideous squeak, and the whole buggy just feels really flimsy and wobbly. The final straw was the break jamming which is just downright dangerous in my opinion. After only 5 weeks of use, the back brake has now become very temperamental and often will not work. Moving the pram back and forward so the wheels move sometimes help it slot into place but not always. We contacted Babystyle direct who said they would collect the buggy but could not supply a loan buggy while ours was being looked at, leaving us without any buggy. They will not simply replace the chassis, saying they have to examine ours to check for signs of abuse, before they even think about repairing it. Not sure how 5 weeks of pavement use can amount to abuse personally! They have basically said its not their problem. However, I would have thought a malfunctioning brake makes the buggy dangerous and therefore not fit for purpose so we are currently considering our options legally.
