I recently bought the babystyle oyster pushchair off ebay and i love it!!!

It is so light and easy to push it looks great too i have had a lot of comments about it when out and about!I love the way the wheels detach so it is more compact in your car boot i also love the hood as you dont really need a separate sun shade and the built in net as last year i had a forward facing pushchair and a wasp had landed on my babys face i know now she will be well protected and i also love the way your child can face you or away from you!The width of the pushchair is great too especially getting in &out of shop doorways you dont get stuck!
I cant really say a lot of cons about it the rain cover is not great i dont think it fits the pushchair great hence to say i am going to buy a different rain cover for it!the seat unit is not very deep but my baby always falls asleep in it and i have to admit she looks really comfy in it! so is not really a problem!I have used the pushchair on rough terrain it pushed good but to be honest my baby was jogged about a bit!
I love the pushchair and it certainly ticks all my boxes it was certainly a great buy for me especially as i bought mine on ebay for half the original selling price i am a self confessed pram aholic and this is one of the best pushchairs i have had!even my husband likes it as he finds it really easy to fold and unfold as some of the pushchairs i have had you need a degree to fold & unfold lol!I hope you find this review helpfull

Fantastic pram - almost perfect! Great for city living - manoeuvres easily around shops and other small spaces

Simple to use: I took approximately 3 mins to unpack the system from it's box and put together. It takes a few seconds to fold up and down, and everything just clicks on and off.
Versatile: I love the fact that I have the option of 3 different functions - pram, with seat, with car seat (I use the Maxi-Cosi with adapters). I can change it in an instant. Having said that, my baby is only 10 wks old so still in carrycot, but I do switch between that and car seat quite a lot.
Compact: It folds up small, esp without seat.
Also: Large basket, lockable wheels, stylish design!
Not many at all.

Mind your fingers when you fold it up!

Not sure how hard-wearing the rain cover is yet - we'll see!

Haven't tested it on off-road terrain, 'though it did fabulously on a snow-covered field in our local park (and on cobbled streets, and down station steps - hang on, these are pros again!)
I would definitely recommend this pushchair / travel system. I am not surprised that it has come out top on the Which? pushchair reviews, beating many other popular models.

Really disappointing! The price of this buggy is unfortunately reflected in the build quality.

I was really excited when we came across this buggy as it seemed to tick all the boxes - stylish, lightweight, compact, front & rear facing seat, large shopping basket, height-adjustable handle, and compatable with maxi-cosi car seat. It had the added bonus of being £200 cheaper than the Quinny Buzz package. Unfortunately it seems that this may have been false economy...
The build quality is very poor, and one fault we have is quite simply dangerous, and Babystyle don't appear to understand the concept of customer service, and have refused to replace our chassis.
When we first got the buggy (after a month delay as the buggy went on back order, so it arrived only 3 days before our son!!), we soon noticed one of the front swivel wheels didn't actually swivel - my husband identified the problem and lubricated it, then after speaking to Babystyle (who confirmed that there was a design fault which had been rectified in future prams, and congratulated him for spotting it!) he filed a larger groove so the wheel no longer stuck. After a couple of weeks we then noticed the rear wheels had developed a hideous squeak, and the whole buggy just feels really flimsy and wobbly. The final straw was the break jamming which is just downright dangerous in my opinion. After only 5 weeks of use, the back brake has now become very temperamental and often will not work. Moving the pram back and forward so the wheels move sometimes help it slot into place but not always. We contacted Babystyle direct who said they would collect the buggy but could not supply a loan buggy while ours was being looked at, leaving us without any buggy. They will not simply replace the chassis, saying they have to examine ours to check for signs of abuse, before they even think about repairing it. Not sure how 5 weeks of pavement use can amount to abuse personally! They have basically said its not their problem. However, I would have thought a malfunctioning brake makes the buggy dangerous and therefore not fit for purpose so we are currently considering our options legally.

love this pushchair, so many great practical features and not too expensive.

I love the fact that I can have a small lightweight pushchair which is easy to open/close, manuover round the shops espeically with one hand leaving the other free to hold onto my 2 yr old and it also has the option of having it parent facing. It is roomy enough for my 12mth old and he looks like he has plenty of space left to grow.
The raincover does not seem very sturdy and may not stand up to a lot of use during the winter months. When the seat is parent facing it is slightly harder to get up kerbs and theres not really any suspension if you where going over rough ground.
This is perfect for throwing in and out of the car and trips round the shops, being able to see and talk to your child while out and about definitly makes the whole trip alot more plesant.
