I bought the original E3 when my daughter was born 2 1/2 years ago. I was really pleased that she could lie flat and was kept lovely and warm in the cocoon as she was born in the winter. I do a lot of forest wa Continue reading...

Hi Em, I have 17mth gap between my boys and only advice i can give is try and buy a phil and teds!!!!

I bought a tandem(found that very heavy, and if eldest in front,he couldn't recline as lil one so big he got squashed) then bought side by side, which was great at first then as lil fella got heavier,it is getting too heavy. Tried a mates p&t and it's brilliant! They are superb but pricey! Wish i cld afford brand new one!

What ever you do, don't go for side to side, go for the in frount style.

It's hard enough pushing a buggie around the shops as it is! My sister and I had our first children very close together, and decided to get a double buggie so one of us could push and the other could shop! We ended up with a side by side and the first time we used it, I took out a whole shop......The kids cried everytime we tried to put them in it......I we could'nt fold the blasted thing to get it back in the boot.....Not a good day!

Hi

I can definetely reccommend the 'icandy Pear, Its amazing, theres so many combinations for seating your kids- facing you, facing away, 1 in the car seat, & 1 in a buggy seat, fits a carry cot and the maxi cosi car seat too. We have a BWM 1 series and the boot is tiny but this fits in no problem, its folds to the size of a single pram. Its heavy to push but I have two children in it so its bound to be. I bought mine second hand from ebay for £375, had I been watching ebay more closely I could have had a real bargain, a couple of them went for £250 & £270 but never mind I was happy to pay what I did as it would have cost me £650 brand new.
