Ingredients

  • 400g Red split lentils
  • 2 Medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 500g Tomato passata
  • 2 Vegetable stock cubes
  • 6tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1tbsp Sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 ½l Water
  • 500ml Soured cream

Method

  • STEP 1

    Chop the potatoes in small pieces.

  • STEP 2

    Boil the potatoes and lentils with the water and the vegetable stock for approx 15 min on low heat.

  • STEP 3

    Add finely chopped onion and the rest of the ingredients and boil on low heat for another 20 minutes.

  • STEP 4

    Taste and serve with the sour cream.
