Mini makes: sparkly ice creams craft

Step 1

Using light brown paint, draw an upside-down triangle on your cardboard to create an ice cream cone.

Step 2

While the paint is still wet, use the other end of the brush to draw two lines across the top of the cone, and one across the bottom. Make sure to add lines going down the middle too.

Step 3

Mix white PVA glue with pale green paint to make a thicker mixture for the ice cream scoop. Paint a circle on top of the cone using a swirling motion.

Step 4

Grab a hand full of beads and scatter on the scoop to create sugar sprinkles.

Step 5

If you want to make the ice cream look slightly frosted, sprinkle on a thin layer of glitter. Shake off any excess.

Step 6

Using dark brown paint, draw a flake sticking out of the ice cream, and use the end of a wooden skewer or the end of the paint brush again to create its wavy lines. Leave to dry.

Step 7

Use these craft instructions to create lots of different flavours of ice creams, from lollies, twirls and multi-cones.
