Toddler & Preschool For Mothers Day Mother's Day card - for your child to make Step-by-step instructions to create a lovely card for Sunday 11 March 1 of Ad break What you'll need Glue Pencil Scissors* Coloured paper White paper or card *Adult supervision required Step 1Draw a flower with three petals on a piece of thick coloured paper, and then carefully cut out the shape you have drawn. Step 2Fold down the middle of each petal neatly along the dotted lines, as shown here. Step 3Then, make another fold between each petal to make a flower shape, like this. Continue slideshow > Step 4Fold a long piece of green paper in half and cut a thin leaf shape against the fold. Remeber to keep the paper folded as you cut. Step 5Cut a stem from green paper. Then, from the orange paper, cut three small strips with points at one end to make the flower's stamens. Step 6Fold a sheet of white A4 paper or card in half. Glue on your stem, leaf, and stamens, then stick the flower on top. A beautiful Mother's Day card made by your little one. Why not try...
