Child’s foot won’t need to be amputated thanks to rubber Toy Story boots
Lewis Kemp, 2, managed to avoid major injury to his foot in a car accident due to his rubber Buzz Lightyear wellington boots. The toddler, who was knocked down after running out in front of a car, might have needed the bottom of his leg cut off or pins in his foot, according to mum Marie. But, thanks to the thick rubber Toy Story boots, Lewis can get back to dreaming about infinity and beyond! Lewis ended up with an open fracture and will have a cast on for at least six weeks, after running away from Marie as she’d gone to get a trolley. Toy Story enthusiast Lewis adores his wellies so much he wears them everyday and even has to be bribed to take them off before bedtime. Looks like Lewis’ Buzz boots will get the nod of approval from mum now though!
