Firefighters called to rescue 3 year old stuck in potty
Three firefighters from Chirk, near Wrexham, were called out to help Rebecca Rogers, 3, when her foot became stuck in her new potty’s handle. Specialist cutting equipment was required to remove her.Rebecca’s dad, Kevin Rogers, had just bought and was about to start potty training her. Rebecca was playing with her 2-year-old sister when dad Kevin heard her scream. He thought his daughters were just having a usual sibling squabble, but when he went to investigate, he found Rebecca had her foot stuck in the potty’s handle.“I tried my best to release the foot, but it was really stuck, so I got some sharp scissors and then some shears from the garden, but it was too dangerous to cut her free so I phoned the fire service,” Kevin said. “It was really embarrassing when three firemen came into the house.” Yes, Kevin, we’d be embarrassed, too!Have you had any cringe-worthy potty training moments?
