Pupils asked to plan a terrorist attack to kill as many people as possible
A school teacher has caused outrage by setting her teenage class a homework task to come up with a terrorist attack that would kill as many innocent civilians as possible.
The teacher, who hasn’t been named set her year 10 pupils a homework task during her Contemporary Conflict class in Kalgoorlie-boulder Community High School in Western Australia.
The assignment given to the bemused students read, “your goal is to kill the most innocent civilians in order to get your message across.”
A spokesperson for the school tried to calm the drama surrounding the assignment by saying the teacher involved is “highly regarded but relatively inexperienced”. The teacher has managed to keep her job.
In other classroom fun, two pupils at a school in Stockholm have each been fined £200 after they bugged their school’s staffroom with listening devices in a bid to pick up tips on how to get better grades!
Full marks for effort though…
