The Britax BABY-SAFE Plus SHR II was the chosen car seat of Wills and Kate for both Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The baby chair is loved by many parents as it's robust, super safe, well-made and affordable (£129).
It also has patented “D-SIP technology” to increase protection if someone crashes into the side of your car and features deep padding to keep newborns and growing babies safe and comfy.

Doona - JB Gill, Samia Ghadie, Billi Mucklow, Sam Bailey
An innovative take on the travel system, the Doona is actually a car seat that turns into a buggy. The Doona is an award-winning Group 0+ car seat with integrated wheels that can extend or fold away at the touch of a button.
It’s the first such hybrid car seat/stroller on the market and features safety aspects such as a double wall structure and anti-rebound handle.
Our MFM reviewer says the Doona is an "easy alternative to a travel system, perfect for out-and-about parents or those short on space". However, the travel system has a limited lifespan as it will only last about 6-9 months. And the Doona can only be used as a pushchair for short trips as it's a car seat first, not a buggy.

Nuna Pipa - Peter Andre
Peter Andre bought his daughter Ameila to the ITV studios in the Nuna Pipa infant car seat when he made a guest appearance on Loose Women.
Since launching at the end of 2013, the PIPA has won a whole host of prizes including a silver award in the Best Group 0+ Car Seat category for the UK's 2014 Prima Baby Awards.

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan welcomed their baby girl Max to the world on December 5th.

Orbit Baby G3 Toddler Seat - Beyoncé Knowles
Beyoncé has been an Orbit Baby fan since she welcomed her daughter Blue Ivy to the world back in 2012. The mother-of-one used the Orbit Baby G3 stroller and infant car seat and has now moved on to the toddler seat with her 3-year-old.
The rear and forward-facing car seat is pretty unique as it's a Group 1 that's travel system compatible. It can be used from 6 months and is rear-facing to 4 years and can then go up to 6 years forward-facing.
Sadly, this seat isn't available in the UK, but fingers crossed it'll reach our shores soon.

Cybex Sirona - Kim Kardashian
Kim and husband Kanye have used this seat for daughter North for a few years now.
This award-winning Group 0+/1 car seat has plenty of useful features – swivel function, lots of recline positions, an adjustable headrest and the front impact shield, which spreads the force of any crash when your child is forward facing.
It does have a high price tag (£375) but it's worth it when you consider it can be used for four years, but it must be used in a car with an ISOFIX system.
