Hosptial bag checklist - what to pack for your baby

Packing for a baby you've yet to meet can seem a bit odd, but even the essentials can seem so cute it hurts!

Leave your baby’s hospital bag in the car until you've given birth, for your partner to bring in. You don’t want to lug too much stuff if you move around the maternity ward. You can download the below list as a pdf, to print out and tick off all the newborn essentials you need for your baby's hospital stay.

• 12-15 nappies
• Nappy bags/sacks
• Fold-up changing mat or towel
• Small pack wipes
• Cotton wool balls
• 2-3 bodysuits
• 2-3 vests
• Hat
• Scratch mittens
• 1 pair socks/baggies/booties
• Muslin squares
• Blanket, for the trip home
• Car seat, ready for the trip home from the hospital
