Fish finger pie

“If Captain Birds Eye came to eat with my family, I would make him a fabulous Birds Eye fish finger pie,” says Wendybiv. “I'd start by layering a baking dish with chopped boiled eggs, Birds Eye fish fingers and spinach, then I’d add another layer of fish fingers, followed by homemade cheese sauce and a layer of puff pastry. To finish, I'd decorate it with sea-themed pastry shapes, coat it with egg wash and bake it in the oven. Delicious!”

arianah2014 writes: “I would make Captain Birds Eye an Indian-inspired fish finger curry, using Birds Eye’s Chunky Fish Fingers. I’d serve this with pilau rice, homemade naan, creamy raita and mango lassi – yum! This is a very unique family meal, so I’m sure he would enjoy it.”

Fish tacos

“If I were to prepare an unforgettable dinner for Captain Birds Eye,” says lockesimon90204, “I'd present a delectable array of fish tacos, featuring flaky white Birds Eye Fish Chargrills seasoned with zesty spices, and nestled in warm, soft tortillas. To accompany these taco treasures, I’d serve a vibrant, refreshing mango and avocado salsa for a tropical twist with every bite, and a colourful side dish of grilled corn on the cob, slathered with lime and chilli butter.”

Fish finger lasagne

“My daughter loves what we call a fish pie lasagne,” Hannahbjm21 explains, “so that’s what we’d serve for Captain Birds Eye. It’s a layer of Birds Eye fish fingers, followed by pasta, cheesy sauce, another layer of pasta, broccoli and peas, then more cheesy sauce and breadcrumbs on the top. It's actually so delicious!”

Fish finger sandwich

Fish finger sandwich

REBECCA CLEARY writes: “I’d make an amazing Birds Eye fish finger sandwich with thick white bread, lots of butter, ketchup and mushy peas. I use quick soak or frozen mushy peas, as you can get a lovely thick texture. Then you just season them to perfection, top with another slice of bread and you’ve got a winning meal! I’m sure Captain Birds Eye would love it.”

Fish traybake

“We would certainly have fun cooking up a storm in our kitchen for Captain Birds Eye,” says Sue Stoddart. “I think he’d enjoy a traybake, made with Birds Eye Sun-Ripened Tomato & Basil Fish Chargrills, Tenderstem broccoli, cherry tomatoes and some homemade tartar sauce – served with his favourite tipple!”
