Makes six portions
100g red onion, diced
100g carrot, diced
150g minced beef
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
10g prunes, chopped
1 bay leaf
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and carrot and fry for two minutes.
2. Add the beef and brown with the vegetables. Add the garlic, tomatoes, prunes, water and bay leaf. Bring to the boil.
3. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the bay leaf. Blend until smooth, or mash with a fork for older babies.
