Apple, pear and apricot puree

Add a dollop of this 3-fruit puree to natural yoghurt for a healthy breakfast or pudding, suitable for babies from 6 months

Apple, pear and apricot puree
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 whole eating apple, peeled and chopped
  • 750g dried, stoned apricots, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 whole ripe pear, peeled and chopped


  • Step 1

    Add the water to a large saucepan and add the apple and apricots. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 or 4 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Stir in the chopped pear and simmer for a couple more minutes.

  • Step 3

    Wait to cool and puree in a blender.

  • Stir fruit purees into plain yoghurt for a delicious healthy pudding for babies or grown-ups.
