Berry porridge

Use blueberries and raspberries for this vitamin-packed porridge, suitable from 8 months

  • 150ml baby’s usual milk
  • 15g porridge oats
  • 50g blueberry, raspberry or a mix of both

Method

  • Step 1

    Place the milk and oats in a small pan and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally

  • Step 2

    Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat and cool slightly

  • Step 3

    Lightly crush the fruit and stir into the porridge. Thin with a little more milk if liked

  • Step 4

    Serve warm
