Pear puree

Boost your baby's Vitamin C intake with this simple fruit puree, suitable for first weaning

  • 2 whole ripe pears
  • 1 dash cooled boiled water or your baby’s usual milk


  • Step 1

    Peel and core the pears and chop into small pieces. 

  • Step 2

    Place in a saucepan and add enough water to cover the fruit. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until soft, then drain.

  • Step 3

    Blend with a little cooled boiled water or some of your baby’s usual milk.

  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
  • Free from cow's milk (if made with cooled boiled water or breastmilk), egg, soya, gluten and nuts.
