Sweetcorn and sweet potato pasta

Vitamin-packed sweetcorn and sweet potato pasta recipe with added vegetables, suitable for babies from 6 months

Sweetcorn and sweet potato pasta


  • sweet potato 225g, chopped
  • whole milk 350ml
  • cauliflower 100g
  • frozen sweetcorn 40g
  • cheese 40g, grated


  • Step 1

    Heat milk and sweet potato in a saucepan, then bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add small florets of cauliflower and cook for a further 10 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add sweetcorn and cook for 5 more minutes before removing from heat.

  • Step 4

    Stir in grated cheese, then blend to the right consistency for your baby.

  • Combine with cooked pasta before blending for a younger baby, or serve as a sauce on chopped pasta for older babies and toddlers.
