Canadian singer is expecting her first child
Alanis Morissette has announced that she is pregnant with her first child, Alanis, 36, revealed the news in a during a ‘25 things you don’t know about me’ article in US Weekly magazine.
Having shared secrets about herself such as, “I make a mean chocolate-chip banana bread,” Alanis used her last entry to admit that she is a mum-to-be.
“I am pregnant,” read Alanis’ final entry in the interview.
Alanis confirmed on Wednesday that she is indeed a mum-to-be, tweeting, “Yes, happy news… I’m pregnant ☺ We’re so excited to start our family.”
Alanis married rapper Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway in May this year.
