Her mum may be a singing, dancing, and acting phenomenon but Blue Ivy is picking up her dance moves from, err, The Chipmunks.

Beyoncé’s one-year-old daughter learnt the signature moves to her mama’s Single Ladies dance routine thanks to Alvin, Simon and Theodore.

“There are a lot of kids now who know the song was on the Chipmunk series,” Beyoncé told The Sun.

“All the kids are like, ‘Oh that’s the Chipmunk song!’ which is so interesting. My daughter actually does the hand movement and sings, ‘Uh oh’.”

The high-pitched furballs sing a version of the starlet's song in ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel’.
