Actress admits becoming an aunt has not prepared her for motherhood
Cameron Diaz revealed that being an aunt hasn’t prepared her for motherhood. Although the Charlie’s Angels actress admitted she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, she isn’t sure if she’s ready to be a mum.
“I can be a pretty good aunt, but whether I’m a good aunt or a crappy aunt is not the same question as me being a good parent,” she told InStyle magazine. “It doesn’t quite have the same impact.”
The 37-year-old actress also revealed she isn’t sure if she’s ready to give up her life just yet. “Having children changes your life drastically, and I really love my life. Children aren’t the only things that bring you gratification and happiness,” she added.
Earlier this month, Cameron stood up for women who choose not to have children.
