Former model Elle is hailed the most respected and admired mum
Elle Macpherson has scooped first place in a poll to determine the celebrity most respected by other women. Mum-of-two Elle, 48, who has won numerous awards for her fabulous fashion sense and model looks, was closely followed by other celebrity mums Myleene Klass and Victoria Beckham.
Nicknamed The Body, Elle, mum to two sons, Arpad Flynn, 13 and Aurelius Cy, 8, was also top of the poll for the most desirable mum, voted by men who took part.
“I’m very busy – sometimes I pay less attention to myself than others but that’s how it goes being a working mum. I have two beautiful boys and one of them is almost a teenager. They’re interesting boys, so charismatic, sensitive and intelligent and, of course, every parent thinks their children are amazing,” Elle said of her boys.
Elle’s sons attend the same West London school as Claudia Schiffer and Stella McCartney’s children and of course the model mum is always dressed immaculately for the school run!
“Neither Claudia or I dress for the school run, but there just happens to be about 20 photographers outside the school each day. The kids get really embarrassed. But it’s part of the parcel of this job and I try to make the most of it,” revealed Elle.
