Actress Gwyneth Paltrow believes germs are good for her children.

The Iron Man star revealed she encourages her kids to be exposed to muck as she thinks it helps build up their immune system.

“When they get home from school, I ask them to wash their hands but I think it’s good for them to be in dirt and germs because that’s how you build an immune system – by getting sick,” Gwyneth told OK! magazine.

“I mean if someone has flu, I don’t put my kid in their face, but it’s an inevitable fact of life.”

After starring in the film ‘Contagion’ as a woman who contracts a deadly disease, the starlet felt she was borderline OCD describing herself as a constant “hand washer.”
