Kim Kardashian slighted Katie Couric on Instagram
Kim Kardashian publically insulted American journalist Katie Couric on Instagram yesterday, calling her a “fake media friend”.
Katie made offensive comments about the Kardashian family in InTouch Weekly. She said: “I don’t understand – why are they [the Kardashians] so famous?” She gave Kim a present for baby North as a peace offering.
In reply, Kim posted a photo of the gift on Instagram with the caption: “#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t.”
Katie Couric told E! News: “I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye.”
Kim’s sister, Khloe, approved of her sister’s Instagram post, tweeting: “God I love this new side of u!”
