Pregnant Fashion Star mentor celebrates imminent arrival of second child with literary soiree
Jessica Simpson was surprised with a Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower this weekend, hosted by her mum Tina and celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss.
The Fashion Star mentor, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, celebrated with close family and friends in a LA hotel that was decorated with vintage tables and accessories.
According to People magazine, guests at the literary-themed soiree included sister Ashlee, celeb mum-of-two Jessica Alba, stylist Kevin Paves and Jessica’s 11-month-old daughter Maxwell.
It seems book-themed baby showers are the latest trend among celeb mums-to-be with Jenna Bush asking attendees to bring their favourite children’s book with them to her event.
Jessica also revealed on Sunday her top bump music too, tweeting, “My favourite album during pregnancy #2 is Harvest Moon by Neil Young. I can't stop listening to it!!! Love!”
