US fans of the Duchess of Cambridge demand a pregnant toy version of Kate whether she's expecting or not
America seems to be more thrilled by the idea of a royal bump than we are?! The makers of the Kate Middleton dolls have been reportedly swamped with requests from the US to make a pregnant version.
“We’ve had a lot of requests for a pregnant Kate doll from the US,” said Lucie Follett of Arklu, the Chelsea-based company who created look-a-like dolls of Kate during her engagement to Prince William. “We’ve also had many requests for a Pippa doll,” Lucie added.
Proceeds from sales of the Kate dolls have raised £16,000 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and Help For Heroes, William and Kate’s two favourite charities.
