Katie Price has done a u-turn on her life in front of the cameras by declaring her children won’t be featured in her new reality show, reports in the Daily Mail.

Mum-of-three Katie, also known as Jordan, took to Twitter yesterday and said she no longer wants Junior and Princess to be in the spotlight.

“I want to withdraw them from the public eye as I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible and want them to choose what they want,” Katie tweeted.

Katie had Junior and Princess with her ex hubby Peter Andre and is also mum to 8-year-old Harvey, who's dad is Dwight Yorke.

Katie’s comments come days after the trailer for Peter's reality show on ITV2 featured Junior and Princess. Earlier this year, Junior and Princess also advertised Katie's KP Equestrian clothing range.

Katie, currently filming her new show with Living TV, made no reference to whether Harvey is included in the ban.

In a recent segment on the Alan Titchmarsh Show, Katie said her children are becoming increasingly unhappy with the attention they receive as a result of her TV shows.

“Therefore I cannot justify to myself putting my children into the public domain to make my photo-shoots and TV programmes more attractive and more valuable when it is starting to impact on their ability to grow up normally. I have to put my children first and I hope people will accept this decision on that basis,” said Katie.

Katie is keen for her ex Peter to follow suit, but a source close to Peter said, “Pete's kids are the most important thing in the world to him. If they told him they were unhappy he would of course reconsider. But for now there are no plans to change.”

Katie isn't the only celeb mum to have spoken about the media's attention on their children. Charlotte Church recently said she was unhappy with the press focusing on her kids.
