Manchester Utd players Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney celebrate with their families at Old Trafford, as they become Premier League champions for the 19th time
Manchester United became champions for the 19th time yesterday and the team celebrated by bringing their children onto the famous Old Trafford pitch.
Ryan Giggs bought children Liberty, 7, and Zach, 5, onto the field to celebrate, while Wayne Rooney and son Kai, 1, did a lap of honour around the pitch.
It was an extra special celebration for Ryan Giggs as he celebrated his 12th Premier League win, meaning he’s the only United player to have medals from all the team’s championship success.
“Desire, looking after myself. I'm enjoying my football more than ever and I think that's reflected in my play,” said Ryan on how he’s kept his performance levels up over the years.
With the players’ children running around, it looked like a new generation of Manchester United had been born!
