Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s daughter cries during her first TV appearance
Former 30 Rock star, Alec Baldwin, 55, introduced his daughter Carmen Gabriela to the world in her first TV appearance at just 6-days-old.
Carmen, whose mother is Hilaria Baldwin, 29, a yoga instructor and TV presenter, was born on August 23.
In the sweet video, Carmen cries while Alec tries to talk over the top of her. He says with a wink: “One thing we’ve learned, if you can hear me over this noise, is that the baby would eat through [Hilaria’s] dress to get to the goods.”
He adds: “I hope she looks like her mother, what a waste of time it would be to marry a woman like that and have the kid look like me!
“I have the feeling that life is wonderful. I have the feeling that I’m so blessed – all those things everybody feels when you have a baby.”

As much as he loves his new role, he admitted to People Magazine that he is suffering from sleep deprivation: “I knew I was going to love her a lot, but it's incredible how deeply. Now I’m getting to the point where if I don't sleep, I’m going to start walking into walls. She sleeps like a rock all day. And at night she’s like, ‘Let's have a conference’.”
Alec also has a daughter, Ireland, 17, with Kim Basinger whom he went through an ugly custody battle for. He said: “It’s a second chance for me, in a way… We just want things to be easy, to be nice.”
