Kian’s wife Jodi Albert gave birth to their first son, named Koa
Westlife star Kian Egan and actress wife Jodi Albert became proud parents yesterday after Jodi gave birth to a baby boy.
The Irish singer, who couldn’t contain his excitement, announced the birth of their first son and the unusual baby name on Twitter. “Our little baby boy ‘Koa’ was born today 6.10pm. Jodi Albert is an amazing woman. Love them both so much. Both doing amazing, so proud. X,” Kian tweeted.
The name ‘Koa’ is reportedly a traditional Hawaiian name meaning bold and brave.
Kian who married Jodi two years ago, tweeted again after being overwhelmed with messages of support from fans and bandmates including Mark Feehily and Shane Filan.
“Wow thanks guys. Amazing to see our little boy Koa is trending in the UK! And he’s only a few hrs old!!!” tweeted Kian. Now that’s impressive. Wonder what baby Koa will achieve by the time he’s a week old?
