Radio 1 presenter admits to feeling a tad emotional
For most women, pregnancy hormones can feel like an emotional rollercoaster and, by the sounds of it, Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton is strapped in and along for the ride!
Fearne, who recently announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jesse Wood, revealed her jubilant mood on her morning radio show, saying, “I’m over the moon, really really happy.”
The BBC Blonde also expressed delight at her “pregnant booby situation”, trilling, “I’ve actually got them for the first time in 30 years. It’s unreal it’s wonderful.”
But, as with many a hormonal mama-to-be, the line between delight and despair has blurred for Fearne, who admitted, “I’m a hormonal wreck. I listened to Mumford & Sons’ I Will Wait on repeat and bawled my eyes out because I was so over the moon to tell everyone.”
While listening to a folk-pop banjo band may not have done much for her mood, we reckon the kind words of her best friend Holly Willoughby will have put a smile on Fearne’s face.
