Victoria Beckham starts unusual family twit pic trend
Victoria tweets pictures of family days out… with no-one in them. And Heidi Klum’s getting in on it, too
Strawberry fever
The Beckhams are often to be found nipping between LA, London, Beijing (etc!) and Victoria was keen to capture a very British summer moment. Tweeting that she was having a “fun day strawberry picking in the rain with the boys and Harper”, we got a pic of a punnet of strawberries. Not quite the happy-go-lucky family pic we were expecting.
Fashion bunnies
We love a good ogle at fashionista Victoria and Harper’s clothes, but when she tweeted she was out for a fun day with her family, we were hoping for more than a pic of her clothes…
London calling
Back in London ahead of the Olympics, Victoria hinted she’d tweeted a pic of her and David with the children. Cruising along the Thames Victoria wrote, “London is AMAZING!!! So beautiful!!! Love being home, on a boat trip with the kids!!!” We were ready for a whopper family pic with a London backdrop. Instead, we got a picture of the river. Made us look though, didn’t she!
Splashing!
It looked like Victoria was going to break the trend, posting a pic of the children swimming with dolphins on Twitter… that is until we realised it was just her and a dolphin. Darn, got us again.
Getting cultured
Ever the trend-setter, Victoria’s penchant for tweeting almost empty family days out pics (no doubt for privacy reasons), has caught on amongst the celebs. Heidi Klum tweeted, “Always good to take the kids to the Natural History Museum in NYC” followed by a snap of a grinning Heidi. Not quite the same. Have we found the opposite of photo-bombing?
