If 1D's Louis Tomlinson lived in New Zealand, he may have to think twice about his baby son's new name - at least his middle name Reign. A list of baby names that have been banned in NZ include several royal references (although Reign does seem to have slipped under the radar. Other names with a regal air that the Department of Internal Affairs rejected include: Prince, King, Majesty and Royal-Rule. Spookily, it comes at a time when royal-flavoured names have become a celeb trend - think L'il Kim's Royal Reign and Kourtney Kardashian's Reign Aston as well as Louis' Freddie Reign.

But it's not just royal names that the authorities won't allow. They've also restricted names that resemble a title or rank including Senior Constable, Corporal and Justice.

They've also banned names that might cause offence such as Lucifer and Christ, according to Sky News Australia.

But we have to say the strangest (and cruellest) names that were rejected were just numbers and punctuation including 09, / and . (yes, really, full stop or point or dot or even spot).
