Who is the father of Billie Piper's children?

Billie shares her 2 boys with ex-husband, Laurence Fox. Here they are pictured together in 2014.

Laurence was born in May 1978. He's best known as an actor, and for his performance as DS James Hathaway in the TV show Lewis, from 2006 - 2015.

Billie and Laurence met in 2006 while performing in the play Treats together, and wed in 2007. They were married for 9 years, before they were granted a so-called 'quickie' divorce by a judge in London, in May 2016.

Billie's 1st pregnancy

In May 2008, Billie announced she was 3 months pregnant with her 1st child.

Billie told Marie Claire that she fell pregnant not long after her wedding - in fact, she conceived while jet-lagged after her honeymoon!

“There’s that, ‘I am so in love, I just want to have your baby!’ it's such a hot thing, it’s so gorgeous," she told the mag. "And also, making a child in the throes of love instead of, ‘Oh I suppose we should knock one out’.”

The actress was filming Secret Diary Of A Call Girl during her pregnancy, so opted to use a body double for some of the scenes requiring nudity.

At 7 months along, in September, Billie told The Telegraph:

"Towards the end it was really tricky. I was showing big time. I wear tight clothes in this show, so it's obvious. Plus I was eating like a horse.

"Being pregnant and filming scenes where you're having to be sexually provocative - when all you want to do is sit in a corner and eat - that was hard for me."

Erm... we can only kind of relate ?

Winston James Fox

On 21 October 2008, Billie gave birth to her 1st child - a baby boy named Winston.

Billie's labour wasn't smooth sailing. She ended up having an emergency C-section, though she later revealed she'd "enjoyed" the birth experience as a whole.

Naturally, new parenthood came as quite a shock to Billie, and new dad Laurence.

"I had absolutely no idea how tiring being a mum was – or how hard mums have to work. I have worked some sh**ty hours in my life, but these are the toughest I’ve ever had."

It seems little Winston was an unpredictable sleeper, too: "He’s a restless sleeper. He gives us hope, then he changes his routine."

That said, Billie also added that she truly loved being a mum:

"That feeling of unconditional love. I used to think it was so cheesy when people said that before, but it’s something I finally understand. The smiling… it’s amazing."
When Winston was 21 months, Billie was forced to deny claims she was a 'bad parent', after being papped smoking outside while Winston was nearby.

Billie's 2nd pregnancy

In October 2011, Billie was 15 weeks along with her 2nd pregnancy.

She'd just taken a job in a play, Reasons To Be Pretty, when she found out the news. Worried her growing bump would affect the storyline, she offered to step back from the role.

Fortunately, director Michael Attenborough and writer Neil LaBute found a way to make it work!

Billie admitted in 2013, on The Graham Norton Show, that she didn't really enjoy either pregnancy, admitting:

“It’s stressful and wearing. You’re either one of those that love it and embrace it or you find it frustrating and uncomfortable and I was that girl. It pushed me to the edge.

“I was frustrated, but probably not as much as Laurence who was on the receiving end.”

Eugene Pip Fox

On 5 April 2002, Billie gave birth to her 2nd child - another boy, named Eugene.

Eugene's middle name, Pip, is a tribute to the plucky character in the Charles Dickens novel Great Expectations.

To announce Eugene's arrival, proud-as-punch new dad Laurence tweeted the above snap, and wrote: "One born every minute.

"We had our minute today. Couldn't be happier. Beautiful boy. Everything fine."

Laurence, also a musician, penned a song for his 2 boys, to celebrate the new arrival.

Not long after welcoming another baby, Billie shared that she found looking after 2 children quite the challenge!

Now that, we can definitely relate to ??

Billie's 3rd pregnancy

In July 2018, it was reported that 35-year-old Billie and her boyfriend of 2 years, Johnny Lloyd, were expecting their 1st child together.

No bump shots or due dates as yet - but we'll keep you posted!
