Christina Aguilera reveals her newborn daughter's name
'Beautiful' singer shares news of her baby's birth on Twitter
Congrats to Christina Aguilera and her fiancé Matt Rutler, whose baby girl was born on Saturday August 16.
The singer has yet to post a pic of her newborn daughter but she did take to her Twitter account earlier today to reveal her and Matt's choice of name: Summer Rain.
"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," she wrote.
Just 5 days before the birth, Christina shared a gorgeous photo of herself working in the recording studio, holding a pair of headphones to her 9-month bump. It looks like baby Summer got a sneak preview of her mum’s new album!
"Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio," Christina captioned her pic.

Summer is the couple's first child together, but Christina also has a 5-year-old son, Max, from a previous relationship.
