A new survey of 2,000 households, by Nationwide, has revealed what the average UK family looks like.

  • Hours' sleep per night: 6.5

A separate survey of 2,000 people, by Healthspan, has also revealed that the 'average' mum gets ill more than 324 times during their little one's childhood - getting bugs and colds passed on from their offspring.

A relentless cycle of migraines, sore throats, and sickness bugs means as a mum you're likely to get ill 18 times a year.

On top of that - you're also likely to have at least one bout of nits a year if your child gets them at school and brings those critters home. Boo ?
