Like Kim Kardashian or loathe her, it can't be doubted that the girl has no issues whatsoever when it comes to talking totally upfront about so many things that the rest of the world would rather keep well under wraps.

And the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians proved to be no exception, when Kim got chatting honestly with Scott Disick (former partner of KK's sister Courtney) on the topic of having a 3rd child and how she's worried it will change her body "down there".

Revealing that her hubby, singer Kanye West, wants another child (the couple have 2 already), Kim said: "I was like, 'I don't think I can carry another one... I just think, ugh, I'll never be the same down there. Kanye says it like feels the same.'

She pushed Scott ("Lord Disick") on the issue, asking him:

"Like, it's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?"

More like this

Well, that's one way of putting it Kim ? ?

Rather than shying away from this most intimate topic, however, Scott – who has 3 kids with Kourtney – replied just as candidly, saying: "100 percent things change. I feel like me and Kanye don't care about that. It's the fact that like, something that big has come in and out of there.

"Things are just different internally. There's just like bumps and curves, you know what I'm saying? It's just not the same."

Well, thanks for that, Scott.

And just when you think the convo couldn't get any more – erm, frank – it did.

Kim quipped: "It's like the same house but the furniture is rearranged!"

Scott's response?

"Correct! Exactly! The front door is still the same, but inside the couches have been spread apart and mixed and matched, like a hurricane hit."

Blimey.

Now, here at MFM HQ, much as we love a bit of KUWTK, we do like to get our, erm, gynaecological info from the experts. And this was one topic we thought it might be worth finding out a bit more about. After all, jokes and eyerolls aside, Kim's probably voicing a genuine worry lots of us mums have.

So, what's the deal with the "down there" situation after birth?

Dr Eddie Morris, spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), told us: "Women’s vaginas naturally change after giving birth, and they might feel wider or looser, dry and sore for some time.

"The openness and swelling should start to reduce a few days after the baby is born, but the vagina will probably not return completely to its pre-birth shape.

"But pelvic-floor exercises can help tone the vaginal and pelvic-floor muscles, and make the vagina feel firmer.”

So, there you go: while it does seem that things might change a wee bit (no pun intended) after giving birth, there are things you can do to strengthen and firm the muscles in your, erm, 'couch' department again.

Hopefully that might make you feel a bit better, Kim ?
